The Bresse chicken is ringed, to guarantee its provenance and indicate the name of the breeder, a seal and a label guaranteeing its origin.
Bresse chickens have been granted an AOC certification (Controlled Designation of Origin).
They are raised free-range for 4 months. Their diet consists of cereals and milk. The meat is very tender, with an intense flavor.
This poultry is sufficient in itself, with no need of artifice in its preparation.
